(Psych yourself out )

The last thing you want is to remain in a state of nervous energy. One of the worst things is if you start to get down on yourself with negative thinking: “I’ll never get this job…,” “The person next to me is a way better candidate…,” “They are going to find out about the C- I got in history in high school…” If you can’t control your bad thoughts, try just emptying your thoughts out completely or repeating a saying in your head over and over. Believe it or not, that may help you calm your nerves.

힘 없고 구부정한 자세

(Slouch)

Studies have shown that your body posture has a big effect on your overall mood. Don’t believe us? Take a look at Amy Cuddy’s TED talk, “Your Body Language Shapes Who You Are.” To counteract some of the nerves prior to the interview, try striking a “power pose” such as hands on your hips, that will make you also come across more confident in your speech.

다른 회사나 포지션 정보에 한눈 팔기

(Start searching for other jobs or researching other companies)

Don’t start thinking about another interview or start comparing with other companies right before you go into an interview. This will just confuse you and potentially mean you ask or answer questions referring to the wrong company, which can be disastrous.

냄새 나는 음식 섭취하기

(Eat any kind of food that will make your breath smell )

This one is obvious, but one of the biggest things that can ruin the experience for the person you’re interviewing with. Our sense of smell is one of the most powerful memory receptors. Make sure to leave them with a good impression, not a lasting smell.

SNS 체크하기

(Look at social media )

For many, looking at their social media accounts will actually distract and increase their stress levels prior to going into an interview. You need to remain at the proper state of mind, with positive, centered thinking. You will be forced to answer questions about yourself, and most of the time interviewers will value your sincerity. It’s hard to come off as sincere if you are too busy thinking about your Facebook post about Kelly from high school who just got your dream job. Instead, remain focused on what is in front of you and avoid the distraction of social media until after the interview.
