A very detailed instruction for each week provided by the supervisor/mentor was extremely helpful. Each week, the mentor provided a detailed overview of the task with video references if necessary. Not only were the instructions clear and straightforward, it provided with enough materials that allowed me to study the codes and the programming process on my own and further develop skills that I failed to achieve otherwise. Another part that was helpful was the project itself. The project, as I felt, was made to aim towards gaining introductory level experience into real world projects that could greatly benefit any projects that I could encounter while doing other internships or potential job interviews. Similar coding projects are very common in the industry, and such experience will better prepare me for future references. I feel better prepared for any upcoming challenges in my programming journey. Not a lot of hands-on experiences like the one PLUS Career provides is available for freshmen and sophomores nowadays, and I feel that PLUS Career allows less experienced programmers and students to gain valuable hands-on experience on projects that are extremely relevant in the current industry. Thanks to this internship, I am now more confident in facing similar projects or challenges. I will put the newly learnt information and skills to use when I am looking for new opportunities to expand my portfolio and work on personal projects using the web development skills I learnt throughout the 12 weeks.
